Cords, Spiritual/Relationship cords are a matter of fact for most of us. In most indigenous traditions, a person is guided spiritually to cut unprocessed etheric cords that are harmful. It can be parents, prior relationships, siblings and friends. Everyday we make cords with

others. When we form relationships which are casual, business matters or in a meeting with strangers, we have cords. The question often presented is, Why
are some cords easily detached but the cords we have from our traumatic past are strong? Trauma, is usually relative by establishing energies which leave an imprint to alter how we view the world around us. You can learn a lot from a person by the relationships they have with others, their habitual hardships and their ability to cope in daily stressful situations.
For example, a person who has experienced rape or abuse will often have consistent issues of distrust or unhealthy boundaries, fear or chaos in their intimate relationships. Often this person has patterned the experience and tries to recreate the experience by seeking people that will feed the emotional ties to their experience. Although this is one reality, this does not mean they are stuck. When they are ready, the etheric cords can be broken. There are several ways to release ties to our past/karmic past through energy healing and repatterning the mind. For some it happens quickly for others it takes time. Many people who have cords have found comfort in their suffering, therefore are less likely to heal as fast. Some often have to hit bottom to re-awaken.
